2016 COULY-DUTHEIL CHINON LA DILIGENCE CHINON, LOIRE VALLEY FRANCE

Creator of wine for four generations, Maison Couly-Dutheil offers the La Diligence 2016 Chinon cuvée, an excellent wine due to the quality of its terroirs but also the result of the know-how of the house which remains family-owned. This 100% Cabernet Franc has a ruby ​​color with a purple undertone. The nose is ripe with a dominant of red fruits strawberry-cherry-raspberry, spicy nutmeg-black pepper, humus undergrowth, vanilla and a mineral note. The greedy and fleshy mouth is well structured with present but melted tannins, and freshness, with a long persistence on a note of bitter cocoa.
