2016 DOM F. GAUNOUX "CLOS DES MEIX CHAVAUX MONOPOLE" MEURSAULT, BURGUNDY FRANCE

The « Clos des Meix Chavaux » is the largest single owned vineyard in Meursault of just under 3.5 hectares in total. At 250m altitude the soil is deeper, therefore allowing the vines to descend further and giving the wine an opulent and aromatic style.

The nose is subtle yet complex – peaches, nectarines a hint of lemon – beautiful intensity. The palate is fresh and gets bigger with time. Very lengthy finish with florals and fruits.
