Domaine de l'R is a viticulture in phase with the elements that compose it: earth, water and… air.The vineyard is managed in the most natural way possible by working the soil and protecting the vines from downy, powdery mildew with sulfur and copper.The harvest is manual and the grapes are transported in boxes.In the winery, the vats are made by gravity in vats of raw cement. The pumping over and racking is carried out by logo-abwhen the juices and wines require it. Sulfur is only there if necessary ... Tasting, omnipresent during winemaking and aging, drives decisions.The historyFrédéric Sigonneau, after an initiatory journey that took him to Spain (Dominio de Atauta, Ribera del Duero), returned to Touraine in 2004 and three years later founded his estate on the remains of the family estate in Cravant les Coteaux.
