"A destemmed blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah from the Font du Loup lieu-dit, aged in concrete tank and old barrels, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Demoiselles reveals a healthy ruby hue to go with spicy aromas of black raspberries, pepper, and forest floor as well as a subtle marine-like salty, sushi wrapper character. Beautiful on the palate, with solid purity of fruit, ripe, polished tannins, and medium-bodied richness and depth, it’s going to benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and evolve nicely for 10-15.
