From famed producer Vega Sicilia in Ribera del Duero, this estate is named after the ancient city in Central Spain and released its first vintage in 2001. Produced from a denser, darker version of tempranillo that thrives in extreme climate and sandy soils, this wine is Bordeaux-like and full-bodied, with aromas of black fruits, chocolate, and tar. A great contrast to the wines of Rioja.
