Más de Leda is a red wine from Tierra de Castilla y León made by Bodegas Leda, a winery that was founded in 1998 by a group of friends passionate about wine Bodegas Leda is located in Tudela de Duero, Valladolid, a town of Castilla-León with a winemaking tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages.
This wine is a single variety Tempranillo (100%) from different plots with very low yields and formed by young vines between 15 and 25 years old.
The vineyards are planted on steep slopes and in a wide range of soils at about 650 and 800 meters above sea level.
The climate in this area is characterized by cold and harsh winters, springs with little rainfall and hot, dry summers.
As for the production, after the selection of grapes, a pressing is done. The must undergoes a maceration in stainless steel. During this, the grape sugars are converted into ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide. Afterwards, there is a malolactic fermentation to reduce the acidity.
Finally, Más de Leda rests for 15 months in French (90%) and American (10%) oak barrels.
