Orinda Hayes has a newly vinted Merlot that captivates with aromas and rich flavor. The bottle carries a sophisticated image with a delicate vineyard. What I loved about this varietal was that it was immediately inviting with a sweet, cherry nose and flaring spicy undertones. Looking through the glass embodies a dark reddish-purple ocean, transparent with a deep horizon.
