The 2018 Turley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the winery's certified organic vineyard in Napa Valley. Planted in 1989 on the volcanic and alluvial soils found in northern Napa Valley, this vineyard forms the eastern border of the Turley estate and is framed on two sides by ancient, majestic oak trees. Dark ripe red fruits, black cherry, and ample savory berries abound on the palate, including blueberry and boysenberry. Traces of walnut shell, earth, and mint leaf round out the nose of this classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate is fresh and satiating, with a supple, finely velveteen texture. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated, with notes of nougat and a long, sapid finish.
