2021 BODEGAS DEL PALACIO DE FEFIÑANES ALBARIÑO, RIAS BAIXAS SPAIN

Founded in 1904, Fefinanes is one of the oldest wineries in the Rias Baixas and was the first commercial winery in the Rias Baixas DO.  Their old vines produce complex Albariño wines with great intensity, elegance and length.   You’ll notice the difference just from the deep golden color of the wine in the glass and the intensity of the bouquet.  It still expresses the classic flavors of stone and citrus fruits with well balanced acidity but also has tropical fruits and a touch of lemon curd.  This is a stunning wine and any fan of Albariño should try it.
