The 2019 vintage was quite irregular. Lots of rain in April, followed by high temperatures and little rain through the summer. Anyway, the young vines produced a Spanish red wine of an excellent quality.
The grapes were harvested at dawn to avoid undesired pre-fermentation. Once in the cellar the grapes were destemmed, crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Once completed, the grapes were macerated for 12 days and completed malolactic fermentation in the tanks. Finally, Emilio Moro Finca Resalso 2019 from Ribera del Duero, as well as a 4 month ageing period, took place in French oak barrels.
