Grape variety: Moscato bianco
The vineyards for this selection La Gatta are located on beautiful exposure with calcareous marl. The microclimate is an ideal factor for the perfect ripening of the fruit and, hence, for the production of outstanding wines.
After a light pressing, the chilled first-run juice is stored until the development of effervescence in pressure tanks and subsequent bottling.
The process produces a wine that is always fresh and lively, with rich aromas and classic varietal character.
Alcohol: 5.0 % vol.
Residual sugar: 130 g/l ± 10
Wine Description
Colour: straw yellow or light gold, with green edges.
Bouquet: distinctive, very aromatic with scents of fresh fruit.
Palate: sweet, with a supple, delicate structure, long-lasting mousse, and a finish redolent of muscat fruit.
the ideal combination of Moscato d'Asti is with sweets, after a meal.
The Muscat d'Asti should be served at cool temperatures, but not too much, between 9 and 10 degrees centigrade
